Dancing daily

Ready to go?
Time for lunch!

This is Kayla's fourth day of ballet seminar with some rather prestigious teachers. She had been worried about the intensity of such an experience and how she would fit in level-wise. True, she is in the lowest group with younger girls, yet she has a very good attitude, is working hard and learning every day.

We drop her off at the University of Nevada Las Vegas by 8:30 every morning and bring her lunch after 11 a.m.. The afternoon sessions go to 4:30 p.m. Every evening we visit a different Vegas free attraction.

I was very moved reading  the blog post of another Mrs. Koch (no relation) and feel compelled to share her link with you all: Dancing Through the Rain (http://kjkdancingthroughtherain.blogspot.com/)
Tracy and Tammy lost their daughter to a rare hereditary disease this year in February. Since then they have felt led to launch a website in Kelsey's honor:  Dock8.
The battle is not over for them as a family. Karly, another of their six children, has the same illness which requires them to travel to the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland every three weeks for continued testing and fighting the symptoms of Dock8.
Kelsey was like the poster child for this disease. She was committed to learning about her condition and contributing to the growing research. This new website will continue her efforts by connecting all those who face the same challenges.
If you have the time to read what her mother has written, you will be so inspired and blessed.
